I originally planned on going to Taipei to see fireworks at Taipei 101, but then decided to stay in Kaohsiung. Luckily, Kaohsiung's Dream Mall decided to organize a fireworks spectacular to rival Taipei 101's. Therefore, Dan, Katie, Katie's friends from her school, and I stood in the relatively cold weather (by Kaohsiung standards) for a couple hours and enjoyed Taiwanese music and performances.
