I participated in a January Program ran by Colby College that sent a group of 23 students to run a winter camp at the Gandhi Ashram School, which was composed of students coming from the most impoverished homes in Kalimpong, India.  At the school, I co-taught English, writing, and math with Aqsa Mahmood, another Colby student (seen in the picture on the right), to students in the third grade for three weeks.

Studying abroad in Beijing China during my junior year of college and meeting some of the most amazing friends
